RECENT BURGLARIES ON THE OAKALLS
Please be on your guard at the moment with regard to your home and car security. Yesterday 15th November 2007, we were broken into whilst we were away from our property. Many items were stolen and damage and a huge mess was inflicted on our property. We understand that a similar burglary happened at the same time last week on The Oakalls and we would urge everyone to be on their guard. Please report any suspicious vehicles or persons who do not look as though they have business on this estate to the Local Police on 0845 7444888. The police are very interested in any information and will be glad to help. Thank you

Daffodil Bulb Planting - The Oakalls
During a recent meeting held to form The Oakalls/The Parklands Resident's Association (OPRA) where local issues and concerns were raised - the suggestion of daffodil bulb planting around areas of The Oakalls was raised. Kindly I have a donated sack of daffodil bulbs and it is planned to plant these on the open space (where postbox situated) on Royal Worcester Crescent - proposed area for planting - the grass bank near to the footpath. The bulb planting will take place on SATURDAY 24 NOVEMBER starting at 10.30am. I would very much like the children of The Oakalls to take part in the planting of the bulbs, but obviously would appreciate any extra adult help with the cutting out of grass sections so that the children can plant the bulbs in the soil beneath. If anyone could spare an hour on Saturday 24 November, it would be greatly appreciated - please pass the word around, especially to the children. If you could bring a spade or fork with you on that morning, it would be helpful. Cllr. Caroline Spencer Slideslow Ward
