I live in Bromsgrove and I understand that the council don’t cover the Oakalls when there is Ice, frost or snow ? i imagine this is very frustrating and epically bad for those residents who live at the back of the estate where there is a slop driveway. I work for a local gritting company that cover commercial properties such as Bromsgrove & Redditch hospitals. We could cover the estate if there was enough demand for the winter months??? if there is any interest please get in touch. Submitted by StuartCullen

Convert Your 4x4 etc to LPG
I just wanted to tell everyone of the benifits of converting your car to run on LPG. If you have a petrol engined car it can converted. the savings on fuel bills are massive as LPG is currently around 60p per litre. and if you open a monthly account at countrywide (which is down from the ewe and lamb) LPG is around 49p per litre. i used a website called comparelpg.com who are based in Redditch they shopped around and got me a great price and and excellent 2 year warranty on my system. Driving my car is no different proformance wise although instead of getting 30 mpg running on gas i get around 28mpg but at half the cost per litre who cares. take a look at there website its very informative -LPG is the cheap fuel for the future i suggest convert now whist prices are still very reasonable Submitted by guy everett

Please be aware that Gallaghers are preparing new plans for the development of the land off Regents Park road. Surveyors have been on the site and soil sampling has taken place this week. This means that plans will be submitted to the Bromsgrove Planning department shortly, We need to keep an eye on this to ensure that the proposed development is in keeping with the wishes of the residents.
